Philips Audio Primo Summer
Promo Van:
November 2010
After a few completely baffling mechanical complications
(remedied thanks to the awesome team at Waikowhai Auto Service
Centre), we are now back on the road and making fine progress
with the Primo ambulance build. Between getting the interior
finished, Rob, Pat and the team at Rapid Radio have been tucking
into the audiovisual system. Thanks to the guys at Digital
Logistics, we have a massive system from Philips on its way
into the ambo. Powered by four big Philips amps and controlled
by a CED1700 double DIN head unit, the ambulance pumps sound
through two 12-inch Philips subwoofers and eight 6.5- inch
Philips components. A 19-inch screen from LG is also being
flushfitted into the wall unit, and will spend most of its
time displaying full- HD goodness from a PlayStation 3 supplied
by Sony. The system isnt going to break any dB records
but it is clean, clear and very loud exactly what we
want for this beach cruiser.
